During the course of his studies, he had worked in both an OPWDD funded Residential treatment facility working with individuals with diagnoses of ID/DD (Intellectual Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), as well as a NYS funded OMH (Office of Mental Health), and NYS OASAS (Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services) funded supported housing program, providing services to individuals with SPMI (Severe and Persistent Mental Illness) and Substance-use disorders. Mr. DiLaurenzio has completed various extensive trainings in various approaches to therapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based treatments, including MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). Mrs. Dinkins is dedicated to the human condition, focusing greatly on assessing the current and pathological aspects of one's life. Mrs. Dinkins has received trainings and certifications to assist individuals in appropriately processing their emotions to their stressful situations and assist individuals in living the best versions of their lives. Mrs. Dinkins understands how the mental, physical and spiritual health are all interconnected, and play an integral part in one's daily experience.

Mrs. Dinkins received both of her Master's Degrees from Adelphi University, in General Psychology (with Forensics) and Social Work. She received her SIFI from NYU and her certification in Interpersonal Psychotherapy from Columbia University. Ms. Bari Lawner, LCSW is a licensed master social worker, specializing in adolescent, young adult and adult client-centered psychotherapy. Ms. Lawner will be working as a licensed telehealth therapist under the supervision of Dr. Adam Barkey.

Ms. Lawner takes an integrative therapeutic approach tailored to the individual needs of her clients. Ms. Lawner utilizes a strengths-based perspective that highlights her clients’ self-determination and inner strengths. Ms. Lawner provides a warm, safe and non-judgmental space where her clients have the opportunity to openly communicate on their journey of introspection and self-exploration. Ms. Lawner has experience treating anxiety, depression and chemical dependency symptoms using evidence-based interventions and practices. Ms. Lawner has clinical experience working with various populations and has gained knowledge, insight and cultural competency when working work with these populations.

Ms. Lawner has experience co-facilitating a wellness self-management group where clients worked to develop healthy coping skills in place of their maladaptive ones. Ms. Lawner also has experience facilitating a grounding group where clients learned mindfulness and grounding techniques that are proven to be beneficial when integrated into their everyday lives.
